Flower of Life

In 2014 I had 2 silkscreen editions printed.  The silkscreens’ basic matrix has 4 layers for the background, which started as the Seed of Life, turning into the Flower of Life, then continuing off the edges of the borders.  The Flower of Life is an ancient repeating pattern of overlapping circles that form a repeating flower pattern, thought to hold the mathematical blueprint of the entire universe.

I asked for extras with just the background, so I could paint over the matrix and create a series of just the sacred geometry.

Prints which didn’t make it into the final edition due to registration issues I painted over some of the backgrounds as well as the birds or shell.
